About Me
I’m Neo Cleric. This site serves as both an academic e-portfolio and a personal space. It contains stuff such as past projects, my artwork, personality, plans and what's going on in my life.
You might've found this site through my school or my social media, who knows but thanks for taking the time to notice my existence.
Required assignments, reflections, and coursework stuff.
Why this site exists.
Why
This website was meant to express myself differently. I decided to try coding an entire website through Neocities and hoping that it all works without a hitch. I've actually wanted to make a site in Neocities for a while now but I've grown bored of programming after my senior year of High School. I decided to focus solely in the pragmatic aspects of life including work, and being an adult; however, as workaholism consumes me, I grow bored and apathetic of society's definition of meaning. So, I succumed back to an expression of myself, hoping that after this site's creation, I can feel that spark in me once again.
In this site contains sections of my life. I'll keep this site regularly updated since I've grown a dislike for social media due to its lack of ability to help me express myself. I will still use social media to gain a following and spread my work; however, this site will serve as a way of knowing me deeper rather than having to beg me upright which makes me uncomfortable, since I love listening to people and live their lives and fix their problems rather than having to deal with mine. People are just so infatuating that I myself have become an amalgamation of everyone I've met throughout my life. Every tiny detail from their stories become parts that stuck with me ranging from the most inconsequential and insignificant to the most vital. They truly do fascinate me, which explains why I struggle expressing myself and sharing who I truly am, so keeping a record of who I am might help so I don't have to deal with the conscious effort of telling everyone who Neo is. Instead, here's everything about me ranging from the minute to the vast. I hope you enjoy since this website did take a great deal of time to work on. I hope this outlet will serve as an artform of mine that will surpass me when I eventually die. There is this feeling of impending doom within me, that one day, I will pass, so before that inevitability occurs, I'd love to put a record of myself as future generations uncover a stranger whom they'll never meet. I hope my existence won't end in vain and will leave something significant, somehow.
Currently, I'm in a constant state of existentialism. For years, I'm fighting the thought of prioritizing the rational versus my emotions. It's expanded further in my old diaries, although it's mostly rambling but I hope there's an underlying pattern or theme in all of it. I seem to struggle to find meaning in myself, so I've adhered to persistent suffering, that maybe, it will give me meaning.
Well, look where's the search for meaning has gotten me. To great lenghts that others might see as the traditional societal sense of success. But in reality, it's all an effort to find meaning in it all. Workaholism, a part of me thinks it's a distraction of my thoughts, but another says it's the fuel that leads me somewhere. These are themes that will be present in my diaries. I hope this short introduction to me and my outlook in life and why I made this site will aid in understanding me and my motives.
Have fun,
-Neo
COM 225
Designed to enhance the student's ability to present public speeches confidently and competently. Also designed to improve information literacy and critical thinking skills. [According to MCCD]
Thoughts
I'm terrified of public speaking, so taking this class was a massive challenge. After finishing these speeches, I feel a little more confident in my abilities and hopefully use them in the workplace.
At first, the autobiographical speech was daunting because I'm afraid of sharing things about myself to a huge group of people. So, instead of doing that, I just started talking about books I consumed, the philosophies I adhered to and my future plans after I graduate college.
Eventually, the second speech was more fun because I was able to share my interests in Typology and the Myers Briggs System. I did go overtime but I had fun.
The third one required me to think of something argued upon, which I needed to convince the audience of something. Couldn't think of something so I just thought of the Loneliness Epidemic and the use of AI to mitigate it.
Lastly, the Tribute Speech was about Osamu Dazai where I shared my personal struggles with Nihhilism and Suicide. It was fun.

Why
What about College?
I'm in college to take further studies that peak my interest, specially in fields such as Neuroscience, Anatomy and some aspects of Computer Science
Despite being at PV for a year and a half, I've been through a lot including a friends and partaking in clubs and leadership roles while balancing both a heavy schedule with full time work and babysitting.
Achievements
I have contributed in making attractive fliers for various clubs, was a former Secretary for STEAM Club, PTK member, Japanese Culture Club and Film Club. I've attended events when I had the time and had lots of fun!
Strengths
Providing insight and direction for club leaders where things should be headed when they can't think of one and helping them implement it. I've gathered the confidence to be more social compared to High School.
Goals
It's copmlicated which consists of achieving two Bachelors to stand against the competitive nature of Med School. A more detailed and structured plan can be found in this site.
Work and School Experience
Diagram + Decade Plan
I’m going for an associates degree in Biological Sciences, which I will acquire this fall and transfer to ASU West this spring.
I have a decade long plan. I graduated from Sunnyslope High School with a terrible 3.6 GPA, with AP College Credits accumulated such as AP Calculus AB, Gov, Comp Sci and such.
Then here at PV, I’ve completed all the Biology prerequisites, General Chemistry, took three classes over the summer, Physics 1 and 2, and Anatomy 1. I chose PV because I get paid to go to school thanks to the Scholarship and FAFSA.
Then I’ll transfer to ASU this spring for a BSN to acquire clinical experience and build a strong professional network with others. I already do as my employment there proves beneficial in helping me understand what each department does. And going from Campus and Facilities to Anesthesia Tech to work with CRNA’s and Resident Anesthesiologists and work in the ICU to network will help me in the long term.
I’ve already been working in the OR for two years so I’m extremely exposed to the procedure and workflow and how to maintain this system.
After my BSN, I can work in the ICU to continue a CRNA Program if I’m solely going for Anesthesia. However, my plan A is to just work in the OR since I’m already accustomed to it and study on the side for my Bachelors in Neuroscience then eventually med school. Working in the OR is more chill, because there’s way less direct patient interaction. After med school, I’ll apply for a Neurology Residency, then become a Cognitive Neurologist Fellow to further my research and be a consultant. Eitherway, both options are rewarding to me personally and externally as well through financial means.
The financial outlook according to Ziprecruiter mentions that Cognitive Neurologists have a median of about 347k/yr, and 248k/yr for CRNA’s.
Sure they both make bank and take decades to complete; however, for personal reasons, I couldn't care less about how much they make.
stuff i was in for school :p
There's more projects I've completed throughout my High School / College career outside of this E-portfolio which can be found by navigating the site!
